On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, an online entrance ceremony was held for seven new doctoral students who enrolled from Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Laos, Bangladesh Satellite campuses of the Asian Satellite Campus Institute for the fall semester of 2024.

At the beginning of the ceremony, ASCI Director Akira Yamauchi delivered opening remarks, and Deans of the graduate schools extended their warm congratulations to the new students.

During the ceremony, all new students expressed their gratitude for being admitted to Nagoya University and their commitment to conducting high quality research.

Distinguished guests also offered encouraging words to the new students, and the ceremony featured a performance of Mongolian traditional music and folk song.

Finally, Dr. Yamamoto Eiko, Professor of Graduate School of Medicine, delivered the closing remarks.

This online ceremony for the multi-campus was our first endeavor of this kind. We would like to thank Ms. Todrol Erdenesan of Mongolia Satellite Campus for arranging the ceremony and for serving as the MC on the day.
