Nagoya University and University of the Philippines sign agreement on Joint Scholarship Project

Diliman, Quezon City: On 23 October 2017, the University of the Philippines System and Nagoya University, Japan, signed the Nagoya University-University of the Philippines Joint PhD Research Scholarships for University of the Philippines Faculty and REPS. Under this Memorandum of Agreement, Nagoya University and the University of the Philippines will jointly offer scholarships to highly qualified faculty, research, extension and professional staff from any of the universities within the University of Philippines System. A maximum of 10 scholarships will be made available for successful applicants between the 2017-18 and 2021-22 academic years. Nagoya University will be offering doctoral programs through its Asian Satellite Campuses Institute (ASCI) in collaboration with the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Science and the Graduate School of International Development.
