NUASC-PH and NUAL-PH Hold Virtual Orientation for Transnational Doctoral Programs

On April 15, 2024, the Nagoya University Asian Satellite Campus in the Philippines (NUASC-PH) and the Nagoya University Alumni Association - Philippine Chapter (NUAL-PH) held an online orientation from 3:30-5:00 pm to promote the NU-ASCI Transnational Doctoral Programs for Leading Professionals in Asian Countries. The goal was to disseminate the information and encourage applications for the October 2024 enrollment.



Dr. Neil H. Tan Gana, the new NUAL-PH President, and Dr. Joy B. Banayo, Assistant Secretary and an NU-ASCI alumna, led the initiative. The event featured Dr. Mary Jean G. Bulatao, the Designated Associate Professor and Director of NUASC-PH, who acted as the resource person. Dr. Bulatao introduced NU and ASCI through an AVP presentation and updated the attendees about the program and admission guidelines. She also answered several questions and clarifications during the Q&A portion. Dr. Tan Gana moderated the online program, which was attended by alumni, faculty members from different universities and colleges, researchers, and professionals from government and private institutions. Dr. Ronilo de Castro and Dr. Kim Nyka Perdiguerra shared their experiences as NU-ASCI scholars and encouraged those interested in pursuing their applications. (MGBulatao)
