ASCI Sponsors Third Bi-annual Remote Seminar on Academic Writing
The Asian Satellite Campuses Institute (ASCI) held a two-day remote seminar on academic writing on the weekend of January 18 and 19th in the new year. This event represented one of two remote seminars that ASCI has sponsored each year for the past three years. The service was provided mainly for the benefit of newly entering ASCI doctoral candidates from the various participating countries in the program. Professor Paul Lege conducted the seminars which covered the six factors associated with academic writing and included a lively discussion on plagiarism and the use of AI technology. The design of the seminars was interactive and designed to allow various degrees of participation from those in attendance.
