Report on Research Presentation March 2025

The graduates of the Transnational Doctoral Programs for Leading Professionals in Asian Countries presented their dissertation during Research Presentation 2025 held on 25 March 2025 at the Main Meeting Room of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development.  



The Research Presentation 2025 was graced by the presence and congratulatory remarks from the Deans of three distinguished graduate schools: Prof. Jiro Takai of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEDH), Prof. Mikio Nakazono of the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences (GSBS), and Prof. Satoshi Yokoyama of Graduate School of Environmental Studies (GSES).   Additionally, Prof. Kuranbaev Kaxramon Kuchkarovich, Chairman of the Mahalla Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Dr. Dilnoza Kattakhanova, First Deputy Director of the Youth Affairs Agency of Uzbekistan, shared congratulatory video messages. Dr. Dashtseren Avirmed, Director of Institute of Geography and Geoecology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences, and Dr. Chhun Tory, President of Prek Leap National Institute of Agriculture, also offered congratulations online.  They all emphasized that the research should not conclude with the attainment of a doctoral degree, but rather should serve as a foundation for continued engagement and advancement in both research and professional development. 

Dr. Aktam Jalilov presented his dissertation entitled, “Evaluation and Curriculum Development of Youth Education for Marriage in Uzbekistan”.   He was supervised by Prof. Asuka Kawano of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development.  Dr. Jalilov is currently working as Director, Institute of Study of the Youth Problems and Training Personnel, Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports in Uzbekistan. 



Dr. Narangerel Serdyanjiv presented his dissertation entitled, “Geographical Research on Flood Hazard Estimation and Hazard Mapping in Mongolia” which was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Yasuhiro Suzuki of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies.  Dr. Serdyanjiv serves as the Head of Environmental and Natural Resource Management Division, Institute of Geography and Geoecology (IGG) under the Mongolian Academy of Sciences in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 

Dr. Wann Chinda presented her research via online. Her dissertation entitled, “Parasite Infection Situation of Cows and Antiparasitic Treatments Contributing to Calf Growth in Cambodia”.  This research was supervised by Prof. Shuichi Matsuyama of the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Science. Dr. Chinda is a technical officer of the Department of Animal Production, Faculty of Animal Production and Veterinary Medicine, Prep Lean National Institute of Agriculture in Cambodia. 



Dr. Akira Yamauchi, the Director of Asian Satellite Campuses Institute, expressed his appreciation to the graduates who worked so hard to obtain their doctoral degree despite of the challenges being faced as a student and a full-time government employee. Director Yamauchi also expressed sincere gratitude to the professors and the supervisors of the graduates for the support and supervision given to the students.  He also emphasized the roles of the new graduates in sustaining the collaboration between their agencies in their home countries and the Nagoya University.
