First ASCI GSL Cohort Give Their Final Public Presentations

The first cohort of Nagoya University’s Asian Satellite Campuses Institute (ASCI) program, offered through the Graduate School of Law (GSL), has reached a significant milestone during their doctoral studies. The students gave their final public presentations in front of their main and sub-supervising professors this week at Nagoya University’s campus in Japan. The final presentation gave the students a chance to showcase the fruits of their extensive research and writing. It also provided the sub-supervisors an opportunity to ask important questions and seek clarification regarding the students’ research findings. All and all, the presentations were productive and engaging. Upon returning to their home countries, students representing the first ASCI cohort will no doubt consider all comments and questions expressed during their pubic presentations. The final presentation milestone is one of the important landmarks for students’ during their doctoral studies; however, they will then need to meet several more requirements before they can complete the program.
